About Sr. Johnnie Field
Sr. Johnnie Soccer Field is a regulation-size turf soccer and flag football field located in southwest Los Angeles, California. The field is open to all members of the community. Bleachers and a scoreboard are available. There are no lights provided for evening play. However, you can bring your own lights to set up. Multi-purpose field: Soccer, Football, Lacrosse and other outdoor events. Recreation Pricing: $125 = For Profit & Non-Diocese $100 = Non-profit $90 = CYO $75 = Diocesean Schools Filming: Please message us here for filming prices. $200 = Cleaning deposit (Advance deposit to be sent to SFXC School via check - non-negotiable) The field is named after Sister John Martin Fixa, OP, who passed in 2018 after a long life of service as a Dominican Sister. She was Founder and Executive Director of Dominican Sisters' Vision of Hope from 1995-2015. Catholic education, teaching, and service to the poor were her greatest passions. This field was generously donated by Shea Family Charities in her honor.
